Make sure you obtain the product from your vet as the brands sold in stores may not be as effective or as safe. The cost of this flea control product is approximately $18 per month.
Another one of the most common vet costs cat health issues is that of spaying or neutering. Unless you want a litter of kittens, you will need to have your cat spayed or neutered. Even if your cat will be staying inside, spaying or neutering is extremely important. Male cats who haven't been neutered spray a very odorous secretion all over their territory, while female cats experience periods of heat that can be unpleasant to deal with for them and their owners.
